Successful Kokoda Trek ANZAC 2012
30 Apr 2012 12:33 PMAnother amazing Kokoda Track adventure was successfully accomplished by two groups of service personnel and six very motivated legatees for the annual ANZAC Memorial trek from Kokoda to Ower's Corner
Congratulations to the two groups of NSW Police, NSW Ambulance and Federal Police officers who took on this incredible PNG adventure to walk the Kokoda Track with trek leaders, Aidan Grimes and Owen Turner and six young legatees who lost their parent(s) in the line of duty. The annual trek across the Owen Stanley Ranges from Kokoda to Ower's Corner is always a moving experience for most Australians made even more so by finishing the trek in time for the official RSL ANZAC Memorial Service held at Bomana Cemetery every ANZAC day.
