ANZAC Kokoda Trek - 2009
It is now one week and a day since we got back but my mind and spirit is till up there in PNG, I would bet I’m not the only one feeling that way.
Exerts from an email to Aidan...
"I don’t mind admitting I still shed a tear or two from time to time in quiet moments just thinking about it all.
I have great things to tell, because it was great, even the so called unpleasant unforeseen bits which we can all laugh about now.
I don’t know if life will ever be “normal” for me again in the true sense of the word and I thank yourselves, the legends and our trek groups for that.
Thanks again for the experience of a lifetime, I feel extremely humbled and fortunate to have been given the opportunity.
Please pass on my thanks to Kris in the office as well, an absolute pleasure to deal with.
LEST WE FORGET
Karl"
